For over 80 years, Krause’s Cafe and Biergarten celebrates New Braunfels’ unique history not only in its Texas-meets-German food fusion and over 70 beers on tap but in their lively beer garden that’s fun for the whole family. Tanji pays a visit to this German-centric spot and shares some of the great Oktoberfest-worthy food they have to offer!
In honor of Oktoberfest, all month long Krause’s is hosting live music by great bands with fabulous food and cold beer! And to celebrate National German-American Day on Tuesday, October 6, all day they’re offering 1/2 price 1/2 liters & 1/2 price whole pretzels!
PLEASE NOTE: Our video was shot before the pandemic (hence no one wearing masks), but in response to COVID-19, Krause’s has taken many COVID-19 safety measures, including social distance spacing between guests and requesting that staff and customers wear masks.
Krause’s Cafe and Biergarten is open seven days a week in Historic Downtown New Braunfels at 148 S. Castell Ave. In response to COVID, they offer spaced seating indoors and outdoors, sanitization of the restaurant, staff wearing masks, and more, in order to comply with local and state regulations.
