Fun Fish is swimming back to Canyon Park on February 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 🎣
Hosted by WORD, this free kids fishing event is designed for children ages 3–16 and is packed with hands-on fun, learning, and friendly competition.
What to expect:
– Free fishing for kids
– Rainbow trout stocked in a contained area of Canyon Lake
– Stocked fish tanks and kid-friendly aquatic touch stations for younger anglers
– Loaner fishing gear available while supplies last
– Educational games and activities hosted by dozens of partner organizations
– Bingo card prize raffle
– Biggest Fish competition
– Tagged fish prize opportunities
– Giveaways including T-shirts, medals, and lunch options while supplies last
Registration opens in late January.
