Huston Sonhouse live at the Faust Hotel

New Braunfels-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Huston Sonhouse makes music for people who find beauty in low places. With a retro rock sound and raw storytelling, Huston builds songs around his deep baritone vocals, memorable riffs, and haunting lyrics. Performing as a one-man band using live looping, he plays every part of his songs to build a full band sound while maintaining the intimacy of a solo show. 

 

Winner of the Texclipse Music Festival Songwriter Contest, Huston is steadily building a reputation throughout Texas for emotionally honest songwriting and compelling live performances. 

 

August 14th, 2026 marks the release of his latest album, In the Shadow of the Mountain, which brings a fresh take on Huston's vintage sound and explores themes of memory, love, and regret.
