San Antonio, TX – The holiday season shines underground once again as Natural Bridge Caverns presents Christmas at the Caverns, running December 6–23, 2025. This year’s celebration brings back cherished traditions plus new experiences that blend music, movement, and magic in Texas’ largest underground cavern system.
Guests will enjoy favorite holiday attractions including Caroling in the Cavern, the dazzling Trail of Lights, a towering 30-foot Christmas tree, and cozy campfire s’mores. Santa and Mrs. Claus will return to meet guests, and families can explore the Reindeer Round-Up Maze, skate on the synthetic ice rink, and enjoy live holiday music across Discovery Village.
“Each year, we look for ways to make Christmas at the Caverns even more meaningful and memorable,” said Brad Wuest, President of Natural Bridge Caverns. “The combination of music, light, and natural beauty offers a truly unique way to celebrate the season, one that connects families and friends in an extraordinary setting.”
This year’s highlights include two new and expanded experiences:
Christmas Candlelight Yoga (Dec. 19): Guests can find peace and presence 180 feet underground in a gentle, all-levels yoga and sound bath experience led by Winzer Van Delden. The session begins with a guided walk through the Hidden Cavern, followed by candlelit yoga in the Hidden Wonders Ballroom—Texas’ deepest studio space. Capacity is limited to 65 participants.
Cowboy Christmas with Jeremy McComb (Dec. 20): Country artist and storyteller Jeremy McComb returns for a one-night-only Live Underground concert. Blending country, rock, and folk, McComb’s Cowboy Christmas show brings warmth, humor, and holiday spirit to the Hidden Wonders Ballroom in an intimate, 200-seat setting.
The event’s signature Caroling in the Cavern series will once again feature local and regional performers filling the underground chambers with seasonal harmonies. Above ground, the Trail of Lights winds through hundreds of illuminated oaks, leading to Discovery Village’s festive centerpiece: a 30-foot Christmas tree surrounded by music, games, and fire pits for roasting s’mores.
Throughout December, Natural Bridge Caverns will continue its tradition of supporting the New Braunfels and San Antonio Food Bank. Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations or round up ticket purchases to support local families in need. To date, the Cavernscommunity has raised funds equating to more than 1.63 million pounds of food for neighbors across the region.
