LARK MASON ASSOCIATES

It might be surprising to find an international auction house with one office in New York City and the other in New Braunfels, but that’s Lark Mason Associates.

Lark E. Mason Jr. was an appraiser for Sotheby’s for nearly 25 years and is a familiar face on the PBS series Antiques Roadshow. When he was looking for a new home for his online auction business and gallery, he chose New Braunfels. The local gallery is built around an 1850’s-era German farmhouse that was relocated and incorporated into the building’s design, with a retail space specializing in fine art, antiques and furniture.

DOWNTOWN ANTIQUE MALL

Dozens of experienced antiques dealers offer an ever-changing selection of vintage items, unique treasures and collectibles at the Downtown Antique Mall. Located in downtown New Braunfels in a building dating back to 1905, the mall is a staple of the Texas antique scene, with furniture, Americana, kitsch and memorabilia from the 1900s through the 1980s.

THE LOCAL

True to its name, the Local emphasizes the work of local creators and artisans. Browse a fun space downtown and check out unique clothing, household items, jewelry, paintings and other fun items, all with a local flair. Bonus: the shop is located between two of New Braunfels’ best restaurants – McAdoo’s Seafood Company and Myron’s Prime Steakhouse and across the street from 2Tarts Bakery.

HERITAGE SUPPLY

LOT 59

SOPHIE’S SHOP

If you love the retail adventure that a museum gift shop offers, Sophie’s Shop is a must-do. Located within the Sophienburg Museum and Archives, you’ll find a variety of gifts, books, seasonal collectibles, jewelry and accessories, greeting cards and Texas-themed gifts. You don’t need to pay museum admission to shop, and proceeds support museum operations.

RED ROOSTER ANTIQUE & DESIGN CENTER
