A New Braunfels baking champion who made her mark on the Food Network will be a contestant on the popular Fox network game show "The Floor."
Ashley Landerman will be one of 100 competitors the sixth season of "The Floor," which premiers Wednesday at 7 p.m. on Fox.
Landerman co-owns 2tarts Bakery in New Braunfels with her sister April Ryan. Landerman and her husband, Peter Landerman, also own the toy store chain Got Toys and the New Braunfels ice cream shop Scoop Street.
"The Floor" has contestants duel in trivia rounds to conquer sections of a 10-by-10 grid over the course of a season. The winner takes home $250,000.
“When I first got cast for the show, I was so surprised to be heading to primetime AND on a game show no less!” Landerman wrote in an Instagram post.
Landerman was the winner of two Food Network competition shows: the 2019 Christmas Cookie Challenge and the 2023 Holiday Baking Championship.
San Antonio resident LeVreese Davis will also compete on "The Floor,", according to a post on her Instagram account. A Taft High School graduate, Davis is a two-time mixed martial arts champion.
